Locations: Eisenhower State Park, Lake Texoma State Park, Herman Baker Nature Preserve, Hagerman Nature Preserve, Binkley Park, and Lost Loop Trail Junction
Silva meets outdoors in almost all weather! There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing! However, Silva will NOT meet if:
(1) the wind is more than 17 MPH, OR
(2) the temp is below 50 and raining, OR
(3) the temp is below 40 and sunny, OR
(4) the temp is below 45, cloudy with more than 10 MPH wind.
-A positive attittude!
-First Aid Kit (w/ oils, homeopathy, colloidal silver, sanitizer, bug repellent, sun block, band aids, etc)
-Water for each person
-Snacks/Lunch
-Wet wipes
-Change of clothes for each person (the kids often end up wet or muddy!)
-Wet bag/ trash bags for wet items
-Towels (wet for wiping down, dry for drying)
-Blanket
-Journal, paper, sketch book, pencils, or other nature study supplies if wanted.
-Binoculars, magnifying glass, field guide, camera, etc
-Ziploc bags/ small backpack (for kid's nature collections)
